One of our first major accomplishments is establishing the 黑人校友会 Endowment Fund. This endowment fund exists to provide an annual funding stream to support curricular and cultural needs of current Black students and teachers, with a preference for activities and programs that would provide the entire school 社区 with a diverse, African-American experience integral to a shared American experience.

000 in order to establish the 黑人校友会 Endowment Fund at 皮普. The purpose is to provide an annual funding stream to 皮普 to support curricular and cultural needs of current Black students and teachers, with a preference for activities and programs that would provide the entire school 社区 with a diverse, African-American experience integral to a shared American experience.

With the support of the 皮普 社区 and the tremendous leadership of Hakiem Coles ’07, BAA和皮普自豪地宣布100美元的目标,已经达到并超过了约30%!

“我很高兴黑人校友会, 和希普利合作, has successfully achieved our goal of establishing an endowed fund at 皮普,科尔斯说。. “这是个多么好的机会啊, as the advocate and organizer behind this initiative…The support from everyone has been ineffable. This endowment would have been impossible to attain without the support, 同理心, and compassion of over 100 individuals – 皮普 alumni from the 1960s and as recent as 2019, 教师(现任和前任), 朋友, and family – as well as the generosity of the Halloran Philanthropies and The 皮普学校, 本身. 我们一起做的!科尔斯继续说道, “This partnership with 皮普 has confirmed that there is a generous commitment to promoting and creating everlasting, 包容, 为他们的学生提供公平的改变. I think the most exciting part of this established partnership is preparing for what the future of this endowment will represent. 真正的工作从现在开始.”

哈洛伦慈善基金会, 谁的巨额捐赠使基金达到了最高水平, 挑战BAA和皮普继续建立基金. Please consider joining them in supporting this effort by making a contribution at any level that is right for you.
